About QruiseControl

Set the Course. Master the Mission. — Hamptonian Industries

Safety boundaries

QruiseControl separates five things: instruction, simulated configuration, simulated flight, mission-file preparation, and real aircraft operations. It never connects to, arms, launches or commands a real aircraft, and no AI guidance can. Loading a mission into QGroundControl or DJI Pilot 2 is a human step after instructor approval.

“Approved for operational preparation” is not authorization to launch. Real flights need DroneOps readiness checks, airspace authorization and instructor sign-off.

Simulator: Training approximation — kinematic model, not flight-controller software. It is not PX4/ArduPilot software-in-the-loop and not DJI's flight controller. Records and exports always say “simulated”.

Student data

Students are DroneWorks aliases with app-specific identifiers — no names, emails or school IDs are stored here. Without a DroneWorks sign-in, work stays with this device and earns no XP.

Not affiliated

QruiseControl is an independent training product. It is not QGroundControl and is not endorsed by Dronecode, the QGroundControl project, PX4, ArduPilot or DJI. QGroundControl (dual Apache 2.0 / GPLv3) is taught as a subject; no QGroundControl code or artwork is included. Its .plan format and DJI's WPML format are implemented from their public documentation and source.
